Scott Harris - Executive Recruiting

Scott Harris serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s St. Louis, Missouri office. 

Prior to entering the executive recruiting business, Mr. Harris was a Division President at Ralston Purina Company (now Nestlé Purina) where he held increasingly important assignments over 20 years. He also held management positions at Pet Incorporated (now General Mills), Huttig Building Products, and Citigroup. His diverse background includes experience in turnarounds, start-ups, acquisitions, and system-wide process improvements, as well as experience in multiple product categories, distribution channels, and retail formats. His extensive experience in significant corporate roles equips him to provide counsel and direction from a senior management perspective.

Mr. Harris focuses on conducting searches at the C-level and Vice President/Director level across all functional disciplines and industries. He is an active member of DHR’s Industrial Practice Group, Consumer & Retail Practice Group, and Diversity Practice Group.

Mr. Harris was born in Boston and raised in St. Louis. He has had active leadership roles in a number of professional and charitable organizations over the years. He is currently serving a third term on the John Burroughs School Board where he co-chairs the Diversity Committee.
